ENJOY IT OR DON'T... I DON'T REALLY CARE...
I grew up in California playing ice hockey very competitively. In addition to traveling around the country for tournaments, I eventually left home at 16 to live with a host family in Massachusetts and play hockey full-time. Because I didn’t do much school that year, I had to do two years in a New Hampshire boarding school to finish high school. Amid the pandemic and making college decisions, I realized my heart was no longer in it and chose to go to college without hockey, which is how I got to CU Boulder.
I love interviewing people because
it allows me to have fun conversations with bands I totally admire. This format is light hearted but rather open, creating thought provoking conversations. Or sometimes it's rather surface and that's fun too. In addition, I started a band with my friends called Diva Cup last year and that’s been a super valuable outlet, as well as taught me more about what bands experience.
